Support Rural Arts
Roots of Resilience Project seeks to grow more inclusive and expansive rural culture through the arts and celebration. We are the keepers of the bronze Watershed Wishing Bell by beloved sculptor Tom Jay, on behalf of the Chimacum community. We maintain a Watershed Bell Fund to raise funds for the bell and, once paid for, to support youth environmental and arts projects.
We are also in dialogue with Chimacum Schools art teachers to support arts education with artists in residence and to help launch a local branch of the Scholastic Arts competition.
