Welcome Jefferson County Growers!
Jeff Co Growers is a network of farmers producing food, medicinal plants, flowers and fiber for the community. We’re gathering to make connections and grow grower relationships.
Roots of Resilience Project invited Local Growers to meet up in the Spring of 2022 to stimulate conversation around shared excitement, needs, and concerns. This event included presentations by the Clallam Growers Collective and inspired local farmers to organize. Here is what we came up with:
• Farmer Happy Hour: These are on hiatus while we work with the Chimacum Grange on a collaborative plan for future gatherings.
• Google Drive, an online hub with Resources and Initiatives folders for a variety of categories (Land Access, Labor/Volunteers, Funding, etc), as well as the Needs/Has Classifieds, Work Party Signup Sheet, Booklists, Newsletter list, and more!
• Discord Server, as a casual place to remotely tune into, contribute to and expand upon conversations, questions, ideas, initiatives, etc. between in person gatherings. This app may be foreign to some, but it is an extremely intuitive, secure, free online messaging system built for this exact purpose of emergent, collective cooperation.
If you are a Jefferson County Grower/Farmer and would like to receiving updates regarding potlucks, work parties, resource opportunities, etc. and to join the discussion on Discord, please reach out and introduce yourself.
Email us at: [email protected]. We will get you connected!

With gratitude,
