In partnership with Northwest Harvest, we have a grant that supports Black, Indigneous, and People of Color (BIPOC) owned restaurants. We're using these funds to support these food outlets and leverage those funds to support families with food.
FARMER CONVERGENCE
We’ve been partnering for several years with Dr. Jasmine Ratliff, Terrence Jackson, and the farmer activists with The Gardens of Tuskegee to host 'Southeast by Northwest’ — an ongoing, cross-pollinating conversation between our regions of the country. These conversations address sustainable agriculture, land access, food justice, and efforts in our respective communities to grow a more equitable and healthy foodscape.
